One year later...
Manage episode 284112916 series 2865416
On January 20, 2020, the first known case of the novel coronavirus was identified in the United States. To assert one year later that this changed life as we used to know it is not an understatement. So many aspects of our daily existence have shifted, and so many ramifications have affected us on both an individual and cultural scale. But one of the major impacts of COVID-19 is the deterioration of mental health in our society. In this first episode of The SunDaze Journey podcast, co-hosts Alexis Carthan and Mary-Beth Meagher will dive into this topic to unpack this mental crisis and what kind of toll this pandemic has taken on their own mental and emotional stability over the past year.
For more data-backed information on this subject, as well as resources you can access for mental health support and intervention, please see our companion article on The SunDaze Journey blog. Thanks so much for tuning into our first episode (and we would LOVE your ratings or reviews)!
