Not all supplements are created equal. How do you know which ones are worth taking and which are just empty filler?

Courtney Bursich is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, AADP Board Certified Holistic Health Coach, and passionate health hacker who focuses on optimizing female hormones and taking an individualized approach to healing. After facing postpartum health issues and undergoing breast explant surgery, Courtney was able to reclaim her health by becoming her own advocate and finding her bio-individualized path to wellness. As a health coach, she now strives to help other women do the same through her coaching business, functional lab testing, and supplement line, Plant Rx. They create supplements made with the purest forms of plant-based ingredients and no undesirable tag-alongs.

When you’re a parent, you quickly learn that there are a lot of things that are outside of your control. That’s what Courtney realized. Instead, she began to focus on the things she could control: what you put on the table every day and the type of climate and environment inside of the house. Using those, she could craft a healthy lifestyle and improve the health of her family. She began looking for all of the ways she could make their lifestyle cleaner and better. She realized that nobody really knows what supplements act as tools for your body and which ones are just pretty placebos. She wanted to bring education to the forefront of society and equip people with the power to make informed decisions.

She tells us why we need supplements, how to pick the right ones, and everything else you need to consider when taking them.
