When we think about the soldiers during the wars, we see them as the bravest and most loyal heroes who have sacrificed their lives to defend the nation. They face the battlefield even if it means endangering themselves.

Unbeknownst to us, most of them are suffering from PTSD and need emotional and mental healing.

In this week’s episode, we are joined by two U.S veterans who bravely fought for the country. Steve Wilburn, the CEO of VardeWatts, LLC, and Jerry Huson, the Founder and Executive Director of 7 Day Hero, join us to talk about the stories of healing after the wars. Listen to their stories of courage, pain, loss, and hope, and that by their experiences we will have a deeper appreciation of our freedom and the sacrifices people make for the sake of peace.

Memorable Quotes:

  • The courage that it takes to go back and deal with your past is unbelievable. — Jerry Huson
  • Improvise, adapt and overcome. — Steve Wilburn
  • Bringing my faith in Christ has been the best decision I’ve made in my life. — Steve Wilburn
