Matthew has a discussion with Captain Michael Donahue. He is a former NASA pilot and a former Captain for a private commercial jet airline. He is currently a flight instructor. They discuss the concept of self care from the standpoint of how aviation teaches its pilots from the hobbyist to the professional to be self aware and take care of themselves to ensure the highest level of safety. In this challenging and stressful time, there is much to be learned from this level of training for anyone in society that is navigating this unprecedented experience.
