We dive into the importance of postpartum care and how the education of it is lacking in our culture. We have to become our own advocates to create the postpartum experience that we all deserve.
Even by reframing how we look at our own cycles will help us prepare for the time after birth. When we respect our monthly bleeds as mini postpartum times, we are that much more able to allow ourselves the time for rest and be better at receiving support.
We also learn that even if you gave birth 5, 10, 20 years ago, repair work can always be done. Listen to our conversation and be inspired by the mothers in your life whether you are one, want to be one, have one, or know one.
