“For Nothing Will Be Impossible with God”
Today’s reading from Luke 1:30-38 reveals the angel Gabriel’s announcement to Mary of the miraculous birth of Jesus. In this awe-inspiring moment, Mary learns she has been chosen to bear the Son of God, the promised Messiah who will reign forever. Her response, “Let it be to me according to your word,” demonstrates profound faith and submission to God’s plan.
This passage reminds us of the limitless power of God. Verse 37 declares, “For nothing will be impossible with God,” a truth that offers hope and encouragement in the face of life’s challenges. Mary’s response invites us to trust in God’s promises, even when His plans seem beyond understanding.
