On the latest episode of The Health Literacy 2.0 Podcast, Seth Serxner is joined by Pamela Rich, Vice President at the Business Group on Health, a non-profit membership organization based in Washington DC, dedicated to representing large employers on health and benefits policy. The organization has approximately 450 members, consisting of large employers and their health industry partners.
Pamela's role primarily involves working with HR and benefits leaders at these large employer companies, addressing their most pressing health and well-being challenges. Pamela helps them convene with one another, benchmark, and provides them with learnings and best practices.
Pamela also leads the Well-being and Workforce Strategy Institute, a group of members who gather regularly to discuss workforce well-being and initiatives for their workforces. It is a collaborative community where both the members and the organization learn from each other, with a strong focus on multidimensional well-being. Pamela also manages the Leadership Forum on Employee Experience and Podcast.
