New franchise alert! We are beginning our epic series on the 10-part live-action anime franchise SAW. Traps and games and lore and "torture porn" for 10 whole weeks (the format of this podcast is cursed). Will Alex and Ben make it out alive? Will you?
We are very excited to do our first horror franchise since our inaugural series on the Paranormal Activity films. We're far from experts on Saw so we've recruited a special guest to help us on this first (severed) leg of our journey: Katherine Vienneau! Katherine is a film scholar and horror lover, plus she recently completed a Saw series binge over three days, somehow surviving to tell the tale.
