It’s been three years since Lisa’s last episode (Episode #5), and much has changed!

Lisa Kivirist and her husband (John Ivanko), who live in Browntown, WI, continue to be some of the biggest supporters of the cottage food industry, both in their state and nationally.

Here’s what they’ve been up to since the beginning of the pandemic:

  • They spearheaded the first ever national conference for home-based food entrepreneurs, which was a huge success with over 900 attendees!
  • They helped organize one of the largest cottage food research studies
  • They published the second edition of their very popular book, Homemade for Sale
  • They helped win another lawsuit to allow many more cottage food businesses in Wisconsin
  • They helped organize a cottage food association in Wisconsin

And in April 2023, Lisa & John will be spearheading another conference as well! (more details below)
