Hey there, surfers and beachgoers! Ready for a wave of information on the surf zone forecast? Let's dive into it!
Starting off in Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, we've got a high rip current risk with surf heights ranging from 3 to 5 feet. Watch out for those rip currents! Thunderstorms aren't on the horizon, and the water temperature is a bit chilly at 53 to 62 degrees. Tides will be playing around with the waters, so keep an eye out for the tides ranging from low to high throughout the day. Looks like we've got a mix of west and south swells coming your way.
Ventura County Beaches aren't far behind, also sitting at a high rip current risk with 3 to 5 feet surf heights. Water temperature is a tad warmer at 56 to 60 degrees. Tides will be changing the game here too with similar fluctuations. Watch out for those mixed swells!
Moving on to Santa Barbara County, where the Southwestern and Southeastern coasts are facing a high rip current risk as well. Surf heights are at 3 to 5 feet with water temperatures ranging from 54 to 56 degrees. Tides will be fluctuating as usual, so keep an eye out for those changes. This area is getting a dose of west swells.
And last but definitely not least, we have San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches boasting surf heights of 4 to 7 feet. Water temperature here is a bit cooler at 49 to 52 degrees. Tides will be making waves throughout the day, and there's a swell of west swells in the forecast.
Remember, folks, always keep an eye out for those rip currents, especially on days like today! So grab your boards, wax 'em up, and catch those waves while staying safe out there!
And there you have it, the surf zone forecast for your favorite spots. This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a swell! Thank you for listening.
