In this simulcast, Dr. Gil explores post concussion symptoms and treatment. Whiplash and concussion symptoms are more common than most people realize. Delayed concussion symptoms are a real problem. And you don’t have to hit your head to have a TBI. Studies have shown contra coup injuries occur as a result of the brain slamming into the skull. This is a big part of why people do not receive appropriate treatment. As a result, people do not connect their symptoms with the injury.
