Today marks 14 grateful years for Coach Denise's transformation into Denise 2.0. Denise started running in 4th grade because it was the only sport she could do. She has been running ever since and has leveraged running as therapy. Shortly after running her first marathon and wanting to get faster, she was solely focused on PRs and started losing the joy of why she began to run. The accident of getting hit by a car made her reassess her goals and have an entirely new world of appreciation for movement, for running. Denise continues to influence through action and helps others run marathons and chase down crazy goals while running WITH THEM. I'm excited to share her admirable energy and wisdom on another show episode! We chat about our WHY, racing, training for Chicago, and so much more in hopes of inspiring you to chase 26.2! We're here to help you! Denise will be in the last corral in Chicago to support all of YOU first-time marathoners pursuing your first 26.2 starting and finish line.
