🗣Avengers assemble!! We were gone for a minute, but we are back and kicking things off for season 4 with a live OFF THE STRENGTH Variety Show featuring some of our favorite friends and family that helped us fall in love with this thing we call wellness through the years of building our community.
We kick things off with a musical medley and interview sure to get you in the groove provided by the brother DOT ICHIRO, then Tony and Kyle take the stage for a guide down OTS memory lane highlighting the pivotal moments and people that have helped them continue to grow into the best damn wellness show out (special shout out to Miles Jessee Kelly).
We then change gears to our next guest and podcast brothers JD and Bari of the IN LIVING BLACK PODCAST, discussing the origin of their show, the musical connection, pivoting from fashion school, how our pod paths crossed, what they are working on, and through personally, and how we continue to inspire each other to be great.
Then we get into crowd work and catch up with the 10x OTS people's champ Flex Cabral, where we are then gifted by a grounding moment and performance by the incomparable Paris Alexandra of the BK YOGA CLUB.
After getting connected, we get into a descriptive game based on what's happening in the gym streets with ripped from the headlines featuring our contestant missmerli from the century-plus-crew.
Then the official spiritual advisor KR Jones blesses the audience with a reflection on consistency before we get into a head-to-head bout of Lyrical Exercise with the brother Flex leading contestants Coop and Drew by example through a workout while reciting these bars.
While we continued to have fun, we also took a moment to reflect on our purpose and mission of raising funds for the evening with words from our brother Power Malu president and founder of the Artists Athletes Activists foundation
And we wrapped the night with a special performance by our brother and musical guest Free Goodes and the hommie dot putting the capital G in Groove!
