We all know exercise is good for us! In this episode, Ian Cook talks to Dr Gretchen Hawley about why the reasons why go so much deeper when you have multiple sclerosis.
Dr Gretchen explains what functional exercise is and it's difference to regular exercise. You CAN get stronger when you have MS, but it's all about strengthening and creating new neural pathways. Dr Gretchen has seen clients improve foot drop in just two or three days by practising in this way.
Ian also chats with neurologist and honorary professor Chris Harding about Hiprex, a non-antibiotic treatment for UTIs which Ian himself has had success with. They discuss bladder issues when you have MS.
