We can never partake fully, we can never even behold, nor can our minds conceive, all the fruits of our work.

We enjoy without effort the results of the "agony and bloody sweat" of those who were faithful in their day and generation. And the only compensation we can make for it is to see that they who come after us shall receive a like token of our fidelity.
