Host Suzie Lawry-Hall explores group prenatal care — a new approach at Enloe Women’s Services. Found to reduce the risk of preterm labor, the sessions aim to help empower moms by teaching them what to expect during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and the postpartum period, giving them access to a caregiver, and connecting them with other moms-to-be. Mom Kinsey Winslow, a recent participant, shares her experience. Sasha Watts, a Certified Nurse Midwife at Enloe, joins to discuss who can benefit from the program, the research that supports it and more.
