If you're curious about the rise and now fall-ing of plant-based meats, you're not alone. Price, health, and taste all play a role in the decline. Personally, I believe in organic, whole foods whenever possible. Real food, without being processed, that are recognized and digested properly in the body. Finding sustainable foods with an environmental low impact is extremely important. These faux/plant based meats play a role and have a place. Today I compare two of the most popular ones out there. Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods. Can you guess which one I like better? Impossible Foods launched its first meat in 2016. https://impossiblefoods.com/ Beyond Meat launched in the US in 2012 https://www.beyondmeat.com/en-US/ -- Let's connect! Ever wonder what those "detox" foot baths actually do or how they worK? On today's episode I speak with Paula Childers, owner of Alimtox Wellness. We go over the ins and out of what it means to cleanse, rebuild and balance your body with an ion cell cleanse. We are being bombarded with all sorts of pollutants. Some we do knowingly from the foods we eat and products we use and others come from our environment, right down to the air we breathe. Pollutants like chemicals and heavy metals build up in our system. Toxins can get stored in the body’s joints, organs, arteries, nerves and tissues, disrupting their ability to function and thus creating an environment for disease, allergies and immune system breakdown. We talk about what it is, how it works, what to expect, the bad rap that it sometimes gets and the benefits of detox. Listen in to learn more and if you are interested in owning your own machine, take advantage of the discount Paula is offering for 30 days. $100 off your purchase and 2 additional arrays with code: Tiffany2 https://www.alimtox.com/ To receive the complimentary gallbladder cleanse sign up here https://greenwithtiffany.com/contact/ or join my newsletter at my website below ⬇️ Let's connect! What does it mean to have a voice and get involved? It feels like there are more injustices than ever happening all over. We need our voices to speak up and speak out. Whatever is important to you. There are many missions that need help. Right now mine is to help save these beautiful Ficus Trees, also known as Indian Laurel Fig trees that are so close to me and the community around me. I feel responsible to protect the land. Save the Robertson Blvd Trees of Beverly Hills. The city of Beverly Hills are killing 87, 60+ year old healthy trees in the name of progress. I hope you'll help, if only by signing the petition below and be a part of a grassroots movement of protecting our delicate eco system. Nature has no voice, so we need to protect these trees to co-exist in our urban surroundings. Trees give us so much, let's give back. Thank you for listening and participating and the importance to choose to care. Please get in touch with me if you have any questions, would like to know more or would like to get involved. What are some easy ways to enhance your life? If you make small, specific choices regarding healthy eating, or introducing green living tips and hacks, to taking care of yourself, you are more likely to keep it going. One great self-care tip is to start a meditation practice to connect to your higher self and start your day off in a positive direction. Resolutions can sometimes feel like there is something wrong with us, that we need to change. Let's reposition that mindset and enhance who we already are and what we already have. If it's eating healthier, as an example, make a small goal, so you're more likely to keep it. Habits can be a challenge to break, so small steps forward can help keep you on that path. Green living can be overwhelming when just starting. Pick one thing or area to learn about. The most important part I wanted to convey was take care of you. You are the person you're waiting for. Starting a meditation practice and reading inspirational stories ground me, and allow ideas and calmness to come through. If you do give it a try, please let me know. I'd love to hear how a practice is helping you. Namaste. Deepak Chopra -Chopra Meditation App " The Book of Awakening " Timestamps: [1:46] Changing how we view resolutions.
