Akilah Logan as an independent filmmaker. She completed her first feature film, "The Blue Labyrinth,” where she wrote, directed and starred in. She is also a published author with 3 monologue books for actors. Akilah has been in the arts literally all of her life whether singing, dancing or writing. She is a makeup artist by trade and her goal is to tell stories about Black people that steer clear of stereotypes.
