This week MG is saving a seat for her guest, Candice Johnson, a talent coordinator and event curator who works with up and coming local talent in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas. MG and Candice originally connected over instagram through their mutual love of people and events. They both value collaboration and being able to work with and learn from one another.

In this episode, MG and Candice highlight the importance of community and building one another up to reach our potential. They speak about Candice's passion for advocating for the underdog, which helped her create her persona as “The Wallflower Observer” and her CommUNITY Garden.

Candice speaks about how both the Black Lives Matter movement and Madam Vice President Harris’s inauguration pushed her to be who she wanted to be -- recognizing her own strength and owning who she is as a leader for other black females.

Candice Johnson is a talent coordinator and event curator that specifically works with up and coming local talent in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas. She has 10 years of experience working in the music industry and pre pandemic was employed by Live Nation at The Fillmore Philadelphia. She works with talent of all forms. Her main goal is to help plant the seeds for those who are ready to bloom and create a community of people who can grow together.
