POETIC VERSE - MEDITATION SPACE - JOE-Y BUSUTTIL Welcome to Meditation Space - this practice looks at Poetic Verse, Poetry and meditation can be closely intertwined, as both offer a means of exploring the depths of consciousness, emotions, and the human experience. Reading poetry mindfully can be a meditative practice in itself. When you read a poem, slow down and pay close attention to each word, line, and image. Let the words wash over you, allowing yourself to fully immerse in the sensory experience of the poem. Like meditation, poetry can encourage moments of silence and stillness. After reading a poem, take a few moments to sit quietly and let the words and feelings settle within you. This can be a form of meditation where you simply observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Poetry can be a way to express and release pent-up emotions, much like meditation can help you process and let go of emotional baggage. Writing poetry can be a cathartic experience that allows you to explore and understand your emotions more deeply. Incorporating poetry into your meditation practice or vice versa can provide a rich and meaningful way to explore your inner world and connect with the world around you.
