In this episode, Maya speaks with Dr. Sorush Rokui, a resident physician in Cardiac Surgery at UBC. Dr. Rokui walks us through what the specialty of cardiac surgery is, what drew him to the field, and his daily life in residency. Dr. Rokui also takes us through his journey of deciding on cardiac surgery, his reflective process, and advice for medical students.
