#4 What Is Being Well Anyway?

Being well, 'wellness', is not about quick fixes, doing yoga, drinking celery juice, pretending we're not ill, or hating ourselves and our life.
Being well is validating the need for the symptoms, learning the language of our body and choosing to take radical control over your ability to be well.
It is normal for you to be totally well. You are worthy. You are allowed. Your nature state is one of wellness. Society and all the bullshit had us believing something was intrinsically wrong with us, that it is normal for us to be unwell, that it's somehow who we are: broken, incapable, victimised.
And it's this exact pain and trauma that is showing up in the symptoms to be seen, processed and healed.
