I am also an author who has been published in Litro, The Los Angeles Review of Books China Channel, Open Democracy, and more. I also wrote the short story collection ‘The Naked Wedding‘. Online I have three main activities: 1. Musician and guitar teacher. I have been teaching guitar since 2004 and offer both online and offline lessons. I update this YouTube channel at least once a week. 2. A linguist and Mandarin teacher. I have a long and colourful background with China and its language. I worked in state media from 2011 to 2013 and from 2014 to 2018 I was a full-time employee of Midea Group, a Fortune 500 company. My writing in Chinese and about China has been published and has been the subject of media features all over the world. I give weekly online Mandarin lessons here. 3.
