Hosted in March 2023 at an undisclosed location in San Jose, California The Immersion Labs have brought together the best, if not, the only practitioners of ancient Spanish sword styles from Spain, blades and long staffs of the deserts of N Africa, Filipino fighting from the islands of Cebu & Mindanao, machete arts from the jungles of Colombia & Panama, to bullwhip and Bowie knife arts from new territories of American Southwest, the bayous of Louisiana and fencing blade arts of the densely populated Hong Kong/West Coast USA.
Taking the 500 year history of Western Edged, primarily Spanish fighting arts that conquered large parts of the world with the central thesis,
"No arts develop in isolation, the conflict and relationship of various arts shape all involved."
