In this golden nugget episode I will reveal some of my best tips and tactics for team building for your real estate, or any other business.
The first thing I would say, is to make it personal.
It’s important to make that connection with the person you’re talking to. If nothing else, you must be present with them in the moment. Listen to what they’re saying. Say it back to them taking notes to make sure you got it right and make sure you understand.
Ask questions.
But you have to be authentic and genuine. This is not a boiler plate approach. This is about making real personal connections one person at a time. Be sincere and caring for the other person needs and what it would take to help them achieve their goals to be successful.
This is the hallmark of being a master networker. Watch this episode and take notes. And then watch it again to let it sink in.
Networking is about making it personal. It is all about helping the other person succeed. That’s what you would want from your network, right?
Then I drill down into how to build your team. It’s all a numbers game. The best way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time and that’s probably the best way to build your team as well.
Do not overwhelm your new Network contacts to complete your team in one round. Keep it conversational, light, and engaging. Ease into the game slowly providing value along the way. Then they will reciprocate as well to help you achieve your goals.
