In a week where:

2. Carlos Alcaraz beats Novak Djokovic for Wimbledon; 2nd Major title.
3. Victoria pulls out of hosting 2026 Commonwealth Games.
4. Sunak plans to crackdown on "rip-off" degrees.
5. Police searched a Las Vegas house in connection with the murder of Tupac Shakur.

In the 1st of two Film segments: (4:38) SAG-AFTRA have joined the WGA in the US, making this the 1st time actors & writers have both suspended work at the same time since 1960. But unlike that one which only lasted six weeks, this one is going for the long haul.

In Social Media: (16:16) With the frequent talks of new Twitter clones, I've increasingly stopped caring about Social Media in general. One part of the dialogue is asking whether Social Media is even social?

In the 2nd Film segment: (27:47) It has been 50 years since the death of Bruce Lee, who is still a cultural touchstone in many aspects. Some of these aspects are clear, but other aspects are a little more hidden.

Lastly, in Society: (40:08) We love a community W and the one that the people of Brixton just got is an outstanding W, beating a large development firm to stop a new build.
