Good morning, folks! Time to get your daily dose of weather wisdom with your favorite meteorologist. Today, we're taking a peek at the good ol' Washington DC forecast.
Let's dive in:
Today, you can expect some sunshine in the mix with a high around 77 degrees. The winds will start off calm but will pick up to about 5 to 7 miles per hour from the south as the day progresses.
Tonight, there might be a few isolated showers after 2am, so keep an eye out. It will be partly cloudy with a low dipping down to 61 degrees. The breeze will be from the south, cruising at around 7 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 20%.
Looking ahead to Monday, the sun continues to shine with a high reaching around 71 degrees. The wind will shift to the northwest and increase in speed to 9 to 13 miles per hour, with gusts potentially as high as 21 miles per hour.
As we move towards midweek, the trend of sunny skies continues. Tuesday through Thursday will see highs ranging from 65 to 70 degrees. Nights will be cool and clear, with lows hovering around the upper 40s to low 50s.
Finally, looking towards the weekend, Friday and Saturday are looking bright with highs approaching the mid-70s.
