Good morning, Columbus! It's time for your local weather update, brought to you by the National Weather Service. I'm here to keep you in the loop on what Mother Nature has in store for us.
Let's jump right in: overnight, expect areas of frost with mostly clear skies and a low around 34, accompanied by a north wind at around 6 miles per hour. Tomorrow, we'll see those frosty patches clear up by 10 am, making way for a beautiful sunny day with a high near 62 and an easy east wind at 6 miles per hour.
As we move into Friday, get ready for mostly sunny skies and a high near 74, with a gentle east wind between 6 to 13 miles per hour. Friday night might bring a chance of showers starting 9 pm, transitioning into possible showers and thunderstorms after 3 am. Temperatures will dip to around 59 with a southeast wind ranging from 8 to 13 miles per hour.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday might bring a mix of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 79, and a slightly cooler night at around 63 under partly cloudy skies. Sunday is shaping up to be mostly sunny with a high near 83, and Sunday night looking partly cloudy with a low around 64.
As we kick off the next workweek, Monday could see a chance of showers in the afternoon with a high near 83. Monday night into Tuesday might bring showers and storms, so be prepared for those.
