Ashley Williams-Booker attended Prairie View A&M University and Texas Southern University where she majored in business management and minored in accounting. She began her career as a geometry teacher, then in 2015 applied her business creation skills in the transportation industry as a self- employed dispatcher. She obtained her operating authority in 2017 and became one of the top twenty- five drayage companies in Houston, Texas to transport over 2,500 containers in a year with a fleet of less than ten. She is the owner of Complete Logistics Service Inc., a brokerage firm and dispatching company. She continues to create opportunities for female-minority- owned companies to excel in the United States Port Authority business and to teach others how to become successful carriers in the drayage industry. Ashley lives in Houston, Texas.
