Randy and Deborah O’Dell are the senior leaders of Freedom Church and Freedom Gateway Center, an apostolic equipping center for the city of Farmington and the metro Detroit region. They will celebrate their 50th anniversary this August, having met in high school and married during their college years. They have been blessed with three children and 13 grandchildren. Randy, a second generation chiropractor, has had a successful family oriented practice for over 45 years. All three children followed in their father’s footsteps, all becoming chiropractors, adding to the family legacy of over 30 chiropractors. One of the hallmarks of the O’Dells practice was it was an equipping and training center, having over 35 associate doctors trained throughout the years in their clinic. The O’Dells have brought that same love of equipping into their church and apostolic center. Believing that all believers in Christ are to be ministers of the Gospel, the O’Dells have designed sermons, support ministries, conferences and the development of a ministry school, into their church community to position their members and attenders to be the best version of themselves, being confident of their identity in Christ. They also have a love for the generations, as does God, and are actively pursuing and mentoring young leaders and their families. They embrace that the Kingdom is vibrant, and sometimes noisy, with movement and expansion always happening, never static.
