Sex sells — for $100. SKYN, a popular non-latex condom brand, is now offering a pack of “luxury” condoms that essentially “guarantees you’ll have great sex” for an eye-opening hundred bucks. In the headlines on #TheUpdate this Friday, Mayor EAdams vowed to stay in office Thursday after federal prosecutors unsealed an indictment accusing him of letting Turkish officials and businesspeople buy his influence with illegal campaign contributions and lavish overseas trips. Gov. Hochul won’t join, at least for now, the dozens of New York Democrats calling for Mayor Adams to step down as he faces bombshell corruption charges, and New York State officials are scrambling to figure out how exactly they can legally remove a sitting mayor — as details from the bombshell federal indictment of Eric Adams emerge. Elsewhere, a pair of 16-year-olds were busted for bringing a gun into a Brooklyn school— as student violence explodes across the Big Apple. And authorities rescued people trapped by floodwaters and more than 3 million customers were in the dark across much of the southeastern U.S. as Hurricane Helene weakened to a tropical storm over Georgia after making landfall overnight in northwestern Florida as a Category 4 storm.
