On today's episode, we introduce one of our hosts, Michael. Michael talks a little about his upbringing around the world in a military family, about the tension of wanting to be both an athlete and creative in high school, and discusses his eclectic collegiate studies as a business major, English major, religion major, and finally ending up with a degree in Psychology. Michael dives into his work in graduate school studying theology, ancient languages, and world religions, with the hopes of pursuing a PhD and teaching in a university setting. Michael ends with a pretty lengthy discussion of his professional journey post-baccalaureate, jumping from finance to sales, back into teaching, and finally landing in digital marketing, all while starting a woodworking business that somehow conjured up over 15 thousand followers on Instagram.
