Just before this past Thanksgiving hip hop superstar Snoop Dogg informed the world that he was giving up his trademark "smoke" based persona in what turned out to be wildly successful ad for backyard fire pit brand, Solo Stove.
Today, the owner of Purple Orange (Solo Stove's PR agency of record), Chris Dickey, joins THE ROCK FIGHT to give us a look behind the scenes and tell us how the ad came together, what it was like managing a campaign that was covered by mainstream media outlets like NPR, Bloomberg and Forbes and what the rest of the outdoor industry can learn from the collaboration between Snoop and Solo Stove.
