Mike Rutherford released his third solo album...oh wait! Hang on, no he didn’t! In 1985 he released the first album by his side hustle, Mike+The Mechanics, in collaboration with noted songwriter BA Baracus Robertson and producer Chris Neil. What lead him to create an all new band? Was it a wise decision not to sing it himself? Most importantly, was it any good?
