59 - Resilience
Manage episode 427549411 series 3287706
We're back! My hiatus has come to an end, and I'm jumping back in with psychotherapist and certified grief specialist Courtney Carver to talk about resilience—my brain's least favorite activity! (Big fan of despair, loves it). We get into why it's so important, what it looks like, and how TF we do it.
PS! There's a vulnerable moment in this epi that I almost cut out, but I decided to keep it because I think it can be easy to interpret resilience as not being impacted by trauma anymore or being "over it." I hope this feels validating for those who still experience grief, and that it reminds you that you ARE resilient, even when the pain resurges.
