College basketball and college hockey are the topics on the latest edition of “The Parting Schotts Podcast.”

Daily Gazette of Schenectady (N.Y.) sports editor Ken Schott talks with Daily Gazette college basketball writer Michael Kelly about last Sunday’s men’s Albany Cup that was won decisively by UAlbany over Siena. Kelly talks about what the victory means for the Great Danes and how the loss affects the Saints.

Schott previews the college hockey weekend. The Union men host Princeton and defending national champion Quinnipiac. Schott talks with Union forwards Ben Tupker, Chaz Smedsrud and Tyler Watkins.

The Union women’s hockey team returns from a three-week break as it goes to Quinnipiac and Princeton. Schott speaks with Union head coach Josh Sciba and forward Emily King.

Schott then talks with Quinnipiac men’s hockey forward and ex-Union player Collin Graf, who explains why he left Union after the 2021-22 season to go to Quinnipiac, and he reflects on winning the NCAA title in April.
