Paul Gibbs, host of The Artist Insight, talks with Swedish singer and songwriter Maria Segerholm in this episode. Maria released "Chosen" in 2022, a song written for her church congregation, which she had no plans of releasing. But God had different plans, and Maria felt called to release it not only in Swedish, but also in English. The Swedish version is, as of the date of this writing, her second most played song on Spotify. Her latest release is "Gloria (A Child Is Born Tonight)".
Maria shares about this new song, as well as others including "Healing Rain", "Move The Mountains", and "My Faith Survives", a song about some of the dark times in her life and how these times have tested, and strengthened, her faith!
