"Someday" - by Corinna Ertl and Tilo Alpermann (TNOTR Pagecast Theme Song)
Manage episode 367058423 series 3483854
Here is our theme song - music, piano, and mix by the wonderful Tilo Alpermann, lyrics performed by the amazing Corinna Ertl, words by me, Matt Kempke.
In case you want to join in and sing with Cori, here are the lyrics:
"At the end of the path to the old tree...
Wait the most wondrous tales.
Can you see them moving in the bushes?
They've come to meet you halfway.
Now go, grab your backpack.
Let your heart be your compass!
Go, find your own path out there...
We will meet again someday...
Right here."

About the Pagecast:
If you like stories about talking animals, magic spells, and deep forests, then this story might be for you. Let me warn you that while this tale is quite whimsical, our path will lead us to dark and scary places, too. But I can promise you that in darkness, hope will always shine brightest.
If you have never heard about the "Night of the Rabbit", Mousewood, the Marquis de Hoto, and the Treewalkers… then you can start listening to the story right away! You’ll get to know them soon.
For those of you who have heard about the adventure game “The Night of the Rabbit” which celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2023 and which I wrote, you might wonder how this pagecast fits in with the tale featured in the game.
Well, in our game, some questions remained unanswered, and some mysteries unsolved. These are the stories that this podcast is all about.
A couple of years ago, I already got the opportunity to explore a part of this story in two German “Night of the Rabbit” audio plays.
As there were a lot of story elements that didn’t make it into the audio plays and I also wanted to share these stories with those of you who could not listen to the German audio plays I decided to turn this story into a novel and this podcast.
Daedalic Entertainment, the game company that owns the rights to “The Night of the Rabbit” and the adventure game, was kind enough to allow me to continue writing the official stories in book and audiobook form.
A big “Thank you!” to my friends and family who help and support me with this creative endeavor.
And… a heartfelt "Thank You!" to our fans, who kept asking me for more stories about Mousewood and the Treewalkers.
Here they are.

[I don’t get money if you purchase the game, but if you support the game, maybe the production company will ask me to create a sequel one day]
