Is the Biden administration trying to craft a new deal with Iran? And what do Israel and Saudi Arabia have to say about it? Join the More Freedom Foundation as we delve deep into one of the most pressing geopolitical issues of our time— stopping a war between the United States and Iran. In this episode, Rob and Ruairi take you on a journey through the sad history of very successful diplomatic negotiations, ruined by the usual suspects of stupid US politics, weapons manufacturers and the Congresspeople who love them. We had a functioning Iran Nuclear Deal! And Trump and Washington, DC ruined it. Whatever the Biden administration is going to cobble together now will be infinitely vaguer, and much, much worse than the JCPOA. But we need it. There are so many on-going issues right now that the Biden administration needs to prioritize and deescalate with Tehran. The important question though, is how much is the White House willing to sacrifice to do it? Will our decades of agonizing over a promised Iranian nuclear bomb lead in the end to a very real Saudi one?
