Episode 34: Did Kenneth Chesebro make the worst decision of his life?

Kenneth Chesebro got what he wanted - a speedy trial that is now set for October 23, 2023. But did he make a mistake by requesting one? The Judge granted his speedy trial request, but he also granted Sidney Powell's speedy trial request. Then he combined their trials into one trial together as codefendants. Neither Kenneth Chesebro nor Sidney Powell wanted to be tried together. In fact, both of them asked for separate trials. But prosecutor Fanni Willis opposed this motion, and she won. Chesebro and Powell will now be tried together on October 23rd.

Willis anticipates 4 months of testimony with 130 witnesses. She is still demanding that all 19 defendants be tried together. Will some of them plead out to avoid a trial? Will any of them strike a deal to testify against other defendants and therefore avoid prosecution altogether or at least reduce the number of crimes with which they are charged or found guilty?
