Interview
Jonny Lang- Jonny burst onto the scene in 1997 at just 15 years of age with the multi platinum album Lie To Me. Tours followed with everyone from The Rolling Stones and Aerosmith to BB King and Jeff Beck. He's also recorded with the likes of Santana, Buddy Guy and Double Trouble. In early 2021 Jonny announced that due to ongoing vocal issues that he was cancelling all confirmed appearances. It’s been radio silence ever since.
So, Kasey has dug into his archives to retrieve his 2017 interview with Jonny who was then healthy, happy and celebrating the release of his incredible and most recent album, Signs. Jonny will talk in depth about the album (including guitar tones and production choices), recording with Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Steven Tyler, and his vocal health at the time. Jonny will also play word association and do his best to sum up some of the amazing people he’s worked or rubbed elbows with over the years in Bill Clinton, Zakk Wylde ,Willie Nelson, Dan Aykroyd, John Goodman, Santana, Ronnie Wood, Jesse Ventura, John Popper , Marti Frederiksen and more!

Can Douglas “I Ate Your Bottle Of No More Tears Shampoo” Mcfly hit the high notes at the end of Aerosmith’s “Dream On” without said warm up? Of course not! However, you’ll have to tune in to hear just how bad it was.
