#9 Missteps are Opportunities Wrapped in Failure

This is something that has happened to me once or twice in my life and each time, in the moment I was crushed…but looking back on how it made all the dots connect for the next few years, blew my mind. Like in my second year at Webster University, I was the co-captain of the first team to ever go to the NCAA Division III Championships at Webster. I went through 5 years of what felt like hell between highschool and when I went back to college and I failed 99% of the time…but had I just went straight to Webster when I graduated from a high school two blocks away…I would have never played in an NCAA Championship. It may not feel like your failure is an opportunity, but there is a good chance it’s something you needed. Keep your head up and keep pushing, you will see the meaning eventually.
