In this episode of The Heart Speaks, Chloe discusses the relationship between bigotry, trauma, extremism surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Chloe suggests that trauma can lead to defensive measures to protect oneself and one’s community from annihilation, which may result in extremism and argues that trauma is not an intellectual exercise but a subconscious feeling that manifests regardless of academic awareness.
