Klaus Schwab recently delivered a keynote address at the 2022 G20 and B20 shindig in Indonesia on the transition into a multi-polar world, as opposed to the world we've been living in where the United States has been the pre-eminent superpower.

Starting right around the 2:00 mark, Schwab talks about the fundamental restructuring of the world which needs to be embraced to the end of engineering a bright new future. Yet he admits that all is not so rosy. Schwab talks about the restructuring of the global economy leading to a reduction of income, and therefore the standard of living of regular men and women. Such, they know, is increasing social tension - though not for Schwab, it seems.

One could hardly find a more opposite vision to what Make America Great Again has been about, by the way. And pay attention to who is on board with this, including especially the politicians and corporations here in America who think this is grand for all the same reasons they hate Trump and the folks who've voted for and supported him.

For those inclined to dismiss such diatribes as conspiracy theory, do note that Schwab being allowed to speak at all at the G20 and B20 summit does say something of his clout, and the widespread acceptance of his ideas. And note then that he says explicitly that their goal requires both government and business being on board. Thus you will make sense of ESG scores and corporations going woke, even when it costs them dearly in their sales revenue and share prices.

But what is the G20? And what is the B20? Only this: they are the largest economies and companies in the world, governing one way or another most of the people and wealth on planet Earth.

Schwab, for his part, is a German engineer, economist, author, and founder of the World Economic Forum, and has been the chairman of that organization since 1971. But you can’t make up his German accent. As many have pointed out, he sounds just like a supervillain from a James Bond film - not just because of the accent, but also because it's paired with the kind of euphemistically articulated megalomaniacal aspirations to godhood we've come to expect of the baddies featured by Ian Fleming type works.

If you ask me, Schwab may as well be a supervillain from a James Bond film. In fact, I’m not so sure he isn't one. Maybe this is the real reason why the release of 'No Time To Die' was delayed.

But when he talks about using the Metaverse to facilitate global dialogue, and that toward the stated goal of “a more inclusive world," we should understand by now that this is code for you and I being further pressured to affirm and tolerate things we don’t believe are true or right. Moreover, the power of global governance and economic constraint will be brought to bear as convincing if we're reluctant.

Sustainability is also code. It's a stand-in for the promise we will endure arbitrary redistributions of all our wealth and power - after men like Schwab take their very sizeable cuts, of course. In his case, that cut is currently a salary of over $1 million per year. But that is for the greater good, clearly. Not like yours and my wages.

By all means, let them take care of the planet if you want to. Just know that's a front for a one world government. And like the bust of Lenin on the shelf behind Schwab in this film from 2019, this intended global governance is distinctly communistic.

Mercifully, there's something stronger than supervillains bent on reshaping the world in their image. The power of love, which God has extended to us in Christ, and which those who belong to God reflect back in turn - not only in word, but also in deeds, and efforts which are both concentrated and sustained on building and conserving what is true, beautiful, and good.
