This week, the Foamy Heads continue with the local scene! Mitch and Rich were honored to host community focused and 2024 Nashville Predators Craft Beer Festival winners Dark Shadow Brewing Company as we talk about the great beers that Rachel and Keith are brewing up!
Beers Highlighted:
- Honey Lavender Blonde: Rachel's brainchild and winner of the Murfreesboro Shakespeare festival for best beer! This easy drinking light ale is rich with honey and has a touch of lavender on the back end.
- Pie Gose With Everything: Key Lime gose with lactose and cinnamon graham crackers balances out the tartness of this tasty brew. As Rich tries more goses, he continuously learns that they are becoming a style of beer he would drink in the summer time.
- Midwest Brown IPA: 7.1% beer that is not overly hoppy and has a slight brown hue. Roasty caramel malts mute the IBUs in this IPA. This one went down easy!
- Dark Cherry IPA: 8.6% dry hopped cherry IPA, this is a big boy!
