Almost 29 years old, from Arlington, Virginia but she lives in Fort Washington, Maryland, and she teaches in Northeast, DC. She has been a teacher for 7 years and currently a Reading Interventionist. She has also been a mother for 7 months, not including the pregnancy, and her son’s name is Santana. In her free time, which there isn’t much of, she loves to paint, write, and travel. Was born and raised in Newburgh, NY and moved to Wilmington, NC at 14 years old. She graduated from the University of North Carolina of Greensboro in North Carolina. She currently working on her master’s degree in psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. She engaged and have a two-year-old son who is her pride and joy. Being a woman with goals and aspirations allows me to work extremely hard for my family. The journey never stops. She has been working towards being an entrepreneur. She has made a clothing line for young boys that she has been working on for the last 3 months inspired by her son and nephew called Born KINGZ. The meaning of my brand is to let all young boys of our culture know they are Born to be KINGZ. As mothers raising sons, we want them to know that you are more than what society thinks of you. She the mom behind the blog Another Effin Mom Blog. She started the blog to just talk about her journey through motherhood. The great, the bad and the ugly, highs and lows. She wanted to create a space where people could truly relate. Through that, she has also brought together moms from all facets of motherhood for brunch. She wanted the brunch to also be a space of realness, where moms could let loose with no judgment. She is trying to change the stigma of motherhood where we are meant to martyr ourselves for the sake of our kids.
