On today’s episode, I’m discussing a topic that I’ve seen a lot of questions on lately, and that’s recruiting. COVID really did a number on the arts, and a lot of choir directors are dealing with record-low numbers of singers in their programs. In order to help you be as successful as possible in your recruiting efforts, I am busting the 10 myths about recruiting singers to your choir program. These are pieces of advice that I have seen given to other choir directors, that I believe are not the most productive ways of building your choir program.
