In this episode, Chris and Ike interview Adam Kraut, Executive Director of the Second Amendment Foundation. They discuss Adam's background and path to gun rights advocacy. Adam provides an overview of the Second Amendment Foundation, which was founded in 1974 and has been involved in over 250 legal cases defending the right to keep and bear arms. He discusses current lawsuits SAF is involved with, including challenges to assault weapons bans, magazine capacity restrictions, sensitive place restrictions, and prohibitions on 18-to 20-year-olds purchasing firearms.
Adam explains how case law develops through the court system and the potential impacts of favorable Supreme Court rulings. He emphasizes SAF's mission to restore and expand Second Amendment rights through legal action and public education. The hosts and Adam also cover recent developments in gun laws, reciprocity across states, and ways listeners can support SAF's mission.
