This week we're introducing a new style of episode dedicated specifically to indie games titled Indie Sample Packs. In these episodes, the 3 of us each have chosen one indie game for us all to play just enough to gain an early impression, then we offer those impressions to you! As such, we are not reviewing these games in their entirety, but instead discussing whether or not they'd be worth your time based on the first few hours of gameplay.
For this episode the games in question are the classic Mega Man-inspired game Rosenkreuzstilette by [erka:es] (with localizations handled by Darksquid Media), the Sonic the Hedgehog-inspired Freedom Planet by GalaxyTrail, and the action-packed rogue-lite dungeon crawler Hades from SuperGiant Games. Whether you enjoy anime waifus, furries, or uncomfortably sexy deities, this episode has something for you!
