In this talk we feature Carlos Ponce, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School hosted by Dr. Jacek Kolasinski.

What is the Ponce Lab? How do we gather and process information?

Ponce Lab led the first effort that linked these image generators to the activity of living neurons in the macaque brain, allowing neurons to guide the synthesis of their preferred visual stimuli, based on their internal code.

Join us on "The Neuroscience of Visual Recognition and Perception" as we explore how the brain processes complex visual scenes through groundbreaking research with rhesus macaques and advanced neural networks. Discover how this work enhances technologies like medical imaging and self-driving cars while illuminating the mysteries of our own visual experiences.
